Ginerva
Ginerva Coffee have been around in the UK since 2010 and they bring coffee over directly from Sicily. They're based up North - as all the UK's coffee gurus seem to be - in Northumbria in a place called Prudhoe. Ever heard of it? Nor have we. But what they do is get it roasted specially to order down in Mafia-land and then shipped to the UK straight off the grill. Ginerva itself has been around in Sicily since 1923 - it's been family run since then, passing on the roasting skills through the generations. Currently under the wing of grand daughter Laura Ginerva - they're still at it. And for those in the know - they base their coffees on Robusta beans - which normally might mean cheap crappy coffee. But can Ginerva tame the beans? Read our reviews and find out...
